In Brendan’s spare time, he enjoys training and competing in running races. He can often be found with his two favorite pals by this side; the family dogs, Indy and Nika. When he was 13 he ran 20 miles for the first time while participating in the Terry Fox Run Cancer fundraiser. Racing has taken him all over the world, but the Pikes Peak Marathon and the Colorado Relay (a 170 mile 24-hour race) have been hisrecent favorites!

Brendan graduated from the University of New Mexico with a degree in Management of Information Systems.

Before working for Wildflower, Cameron was an economist at the Treasury Department in Washington, DC. He returned to New Mexico, where he grew up , for family and green chile!

Cameron received his bachelor’s degree in Near Eastern Studies from Princeton University. He then went on to complete his master’s degree in International Studies from Johns Hopkins University.

When Cameron is not preparing one of his delicious desserts for his friends, family, or fellow “flowers”, he spends his time outdoors hiking in the beautiful Santa Fe Mountains or indoors reading the latest historical fiction novel.

CarlyGoldstein

Carly R. Goldstein: Vice President

Carly Goldstein is Wildflower’s Vice President. Carly has over 12 years of experience with Wildflower and in the field of government IT procurement. She began with the company in 1999 as a Sales Representative, and has also worked as both National Sales Manager and Executive Assistant to the CEO.

Her longtime passion for innovation in technology has been borne out in her work on projects with the National Nuclear Security Administration’s ESN (Enterprise Secure Network, formerly known as ICSI), the U.S. Department of Homeland Security’s FirstSource Contract, and for U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services. From building her own computers in high school to developing technical strategies for federal agencies, Carly has always brought something “wild” to everything she does.

Never without her Kindle, Carly is an ardent fan of science fiction, history, politics, gluten-free cooking, and, of course, her daughter’s soccer team.

Dustin Freels: District Sales Manager

Dustin Freels has been contributing to the Wildflower mission since 2003, and has been District Sales Manager since 2007. Dustin brings a wealth of knowledge to Wildflower drawing on his previous management experience with Best Buy and Staples. In his current Wildflower role he is charged with managing the Oak Ridge, Tennessee sales team and office staff, as well as maintaining all Department of Energy contracts. Having always been a leader in the sales arena, he is a natural fit at Wildflower. During his tenure, Dustin has continually grown Wildflower’s Department of Energy sector business by ensuring the highest level of value and service to his customers. The Oak Ridge District Office has received numerous accolades; the most recent award was the AVID Small Business of the Year award given by the Oak Ridge National Laboratory.

When Dustin is not ruminating on ways to help Wildflower blossom, you will find him wakeboarding on the lake with his wife and 6-year old son, or in his woodshop designing and building his custom line of furniture.

In his personal time, Kyle can be found playing music, dabbling in the martial arts, and spending time with his family, including a dust mop of a dog named Jasper.

AllisonSafir1

Alisson K. Safir: Contract Administrator

Alisson Safir has been the Contracts Administrator for Wildflower since mid-2011. Her job is to ensure compliance with all of our customer contracts. Overseeing teaming and reseller agreements are also her bailiwick. Alisson is responsible for many reporting functions, including updating the GSA catalog.

The data and analytical aspect of her position suits Alisson very well, as in her life-before-Wildflower, she was a published neuroscientist. While working fulltime at the Children’s Hospital in Philadelphia, Alisson earned her JD at Rutgers School of Law in Camden, NJ with a focus on intellectual property law.

She has been heard to say that she loves technology, regulatory interpretation, and solving legal matters before they become issues. But we think she loves her cats a bit more.

TrishMoletterie

Trish Moletteire: Client Care Manager

Trish manages the Client Care Department and has been with Wildflower since 2007. Besides providing the highest level of customer service to Wildflower’s Business Partners, she oversees the placement and fulfillment of all orders, in addition to resolving any after sale issues that may develop.

She is a seasoned professional with over 25 years of Client Care experience. Growing up in Orlando, FL afforded her the opportunity to work in Guest Relations at Walt Disney World. She then moved to Silicon Valley where she spent 15 years as a Customer Service Manager for both an industrial laser support company and an internet company that provided online business financing.

Trish’s most notable achievements include building two successful Customer Service Departments from the ground up. She is very proactive with developing best practices and constantly challenges her team.

Trish attended the University of Central Florida where she earned a B.A. in Sociology. She likes to hike and take road trips and would love to travel the United States again in her RV.

KarmanKleinschmidt

Karman Kleinschmidt: Financial Control and Reporting Manager

Karman’s career in accounting began at the Sacramento Natural Foods Co-op where she worked for 20 years. Her quest for a lifestyle and career change brought her to New Mexico. Karman wasn’t the first person to be intrigued by the description in a Wildflower help wanted ad that called for a sense of curiosity, but she has put it to work more successfully than most. She was hired at Wildflower in April of 2009 as the company’s accounting manager and supervises a staff of four in Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable. Within 11 months’ time she was promoted to Financial Control and Reporting Manager, overseeing the accounting department and supporting the leadership of the company as whole.

With a focus on developing trusted relationships, Karman is key when issues arise that require thoughtful communications, either written or spoken. Her unique style results in predictable and successful outcomes that benefit all parties. Effectively leading financial communications, the design and implementation of new accounting processes for the USCIS MDO, a $165 million contract, is a hallmark of her contributions to the company and its customers.

Karman was an English major at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and it shows! During her time off, she enjoys working on her 100 year old adobe home and learning about high-desert gardening. Her 27 chickens are the subject of many “wild” stories.

KimPic

Kimberly deCastro: President and CEO

President Kimberly stands apart because she holds the belief that her work is a reflection of herself. A native of Santa Fe, Kimberly founded Wildflower International Ltd. from her daughter’s bedroom in 1991. Her goal was to create a company based on honestly and integrity, which allowed a balance between work and home life for her and her employees.

Groomed by its first major contract for the Department of Energy, Wildflower is now the first class federal contractor that Kimberly always knew it could be. Her non-conventional approach is the cornerstone of the company’s success. It’s reflected in everything from the company’s branding to its day to day operations, and leaves Wildflower open to ideas, opportunities and solutions that others often fail to consider.

In her free time, Kimberly can be found working in her vegetable garden and tending to her chickens. In 1998 she was honored by the Department of the Interior with a national award for “Land Stewardship and Development” for her restorations of local wetlands. Her efforts stretched across 5,000 acres to improve the environment for wildlife and people alike. Kimberly’s sense of stewardship extends even further as a foster parent.

Whether it’s tending to her garden, working to protect her local environment, or maintaining the largest woman owned business in New Mexico, Kimberly sees success as her personal responsibility.
